Nandi Restaurant

Our restaurant, Nandi Restaurant, is right on Station Road in Gandevi, Navsari. Being so close to the Bilimora Railway Station means we see a lot of people who are just passing through or rushing to catch their next train. It’s a busy little spot in Navsari, especially in the mornings and evenings when the trains are frequent. We start pretty early here, getting the kitchen ready and making sure we have enough food for the lunch rush. It gets quite hot in the kitchen, but we’re used to it. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking back and forth. I’ve spent many afternoons just sitting by the front door watching the crowds while things are quiet between meals. We get a lot of regulars who work nearby, and we know exactly what they want to eat before they even sit down. It’s a simple setup we have here on Station Road, nothing too fancy, just some tables and chairs and the food we've always made. Sometimes the rain comes down really hard and the water starts to pool up near the entrance, so we have to stay on top of that. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. It’s nice to be a place where people can grab a quick bite before they head off to work or home. We just keep things moving and try to stay busy.
