We are over on the first floor of the Prayosha Complex. Most folks in Chikhli find us easily enough because Juna Valsad Road is always busy. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re tired, but we’ve been here for a while now. Every morning starts with the same routine of getting the vegetables sorted and the stove going. It’s a simple setup. We don't have fancy lights or those modern decorations you see in the bigger cities. The tables are just regular wood and we try to keep them clean throughout the day. People come in from the market or from their offices nearby. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit loud when things are moving fast, especially around lunch. We usually have the radio playing low in the background, but the sound of the traffic outside usually drowns it out. It’s just how things are in this part of Navsari. The air gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running at full speed. We aren't trying to do anything groundbreaking here. We just put out the food every day and hope the salt is right. Some days are busier than others, and sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected. If you're walking around Chikhli and see Shop 15, that's where we spend most of our time. It’s a local spot for local people, nothing more than that really.
