She Sarees

We are located on Sayaji Road in Navsari. If you know where the Tower is, we are very close to that landmark. It is a well-known spot in the city, so most people don't have any trouble finding the shop. The building is older, and you can feel that when you walk in. We have shelves filled with sarees from top to bottom. Navsari has its own pace, and things move a bit slower here compared to the bigger cities, which we don't mind at all. During the festive times, the road outside gets very crowded and it’s hard to even park a bicycle nearby. We spend our hours showing different fabrics to people and folding them back up carefully. The wooden counters have been here for years and they have some scratches on them from all the work. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. It is a simple life on Sayaji Road. We know the other shopkeepers nearby and often chat with them during the quiet hours in the afternoon. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just sit near the door where the light is better. It is not a high-end boutique, just a local saree shop where we treat everyone the same and try to stay busy with the daily tasks of running a small business in this town.
