You can find Kesar Steel Suppliers at Shop Number 13, which is part of Plot No 292 in the Gidc Estate. It’s a retail spot mostly. We stock various types of steel like angles, channels, and rods. It’s heavy work, moving that metal around all day. We have a couple of guys who help with the loading when a customer brings their truck around. The shop is a bit small for all the stock we try to keep, so it’s stacked pretty high up to the ceiling. You have to be careful when you’re walking through the aisles. I spend most of my time behind the counter writing out bills and talking to the local contractors. They usually know exactly what they need, so it’s a quick process. We don't really do any big marketing. Most people just see the stacks of steel from the road and stop in. The Gidc area is always full of noise and trucks, so you get used to the racket pretty quickly. Sometimes we run out of a specific size and have to wait for the next delivery from the mill. We try to keep the most common stuff on hand though. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the steel and we sell it to people who are building things. That is all there is to it.
