Keva Exports Pvt. Ltd. is based in Room 303 of the Central Facility Building. That’s inside the APMC Market No. 1, over in Phase 2, which almost everyone calls the Masala Market in Vashi. If you’ve ever walked through those gates, you know the smell of various spices is everywhere and sticks to your clothes. It’s a busy, dusty place with people always in a massive rush. Our office is up on the third floor. The elevator works most of the time, but we usually just take the stairs to save time. It’s a bit cramped in the office because we have samples and files everywhere on the floor. There’s always someone coming in or going out with a delivery note or a sample bag. Vashi is a real hub for this kind of stuff, so being in the Central Facility Building makes a lot of sense for us. We get to see what’s happening in the market just by looking out the dusty window, though the view is mostly just trucks and more concrete buildings. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there or win any awards. We just want to get through the day's tasks without too many headaches or delays. The tea guy comes by at eleven every morning, and that’s usually the part of the day we look forward to most. We’re just a bunch of people working in the Masala Market, doing what we’ve always done. It's not fancy, but it is our home during the work week.
