We are based at the Commodity Exchange building in Vashi, specifically in offices 622 and 623. It is right in the middle of the APMC Market in Sector 19, so you can imagine the noise and the amount of trucks moving around all day. Plot No. 2, 3, and 4 are always busy with people loading and unloading stuff. At Nalin Exim Pvt. Ltd., we have been operating from this spot for some time now. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the daily work done. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of phone calls and checking on things that are supposed to be arriving. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow during the peak hours when everyone is trying to get to their floor at the same time. Sometimes we just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much. The view from the window is mostly other office buildings and the tops of trucks. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. Most of us have been working here long enough that we know the guys at the tea stall by their first names. It’s a practical place to be because everything we need for trading is right nearby. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor as long as the internet is working and the files are organized. It’s just how things are for us here in Navi Mumbai.
