We have been operating out of Shop Number 31 in the A-Wing of Vashi Plaza for quite some time now. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for folks to find us, especially since we are so close to the Vashi Railway Station. You just walk over and look for the A-wing. It’s a busy spot with people always rushing to catch their trains, but inside our shop, things are a bit slower and quieter. We spend most of our time hunched over workbenches with tiny tools and all sorts of camera parts spread out everywhere. People bring us everything from those old film cameras their grandfathers owned to the latest digital models that just stopped working for no clear reason. Sometimes the fix is simple, like blowing out some dust, and other times we have to hunt for parts that aren't even made anymore. The mall can get pretty crowded on the weekends, but we just keep our heads down and focus on whatever lens or shutter is on the table that day. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. It's just a regular repair shop with shelves full of old gear and the smell of electronics. We try to be honest about whether something can actually be fixed or if it’s just a paperweight now. Most people in Vashi know us by now, and we’re just happy to keep the lights on and keep working.
