Ram Pharmaceutical Chemicals Ltd.

Our place, Ram Pharmaceutical Chemicals Ltd., is located over in Andheri East. Specifically, we’re on Akivihar Road, near Saki Vihar and Ganesh Nagar in Marol. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address to people who aren't from around here. This area is always loud and crowded with people going to work. We have a modest space here where we handle the chemical side of the pharmaceutical business. It smells a bit like a lab sometimes, which is expected. The building isn't very new. We’ve had to fix the plumbing a couple of times this year already. Most of our day is spent looking at charts and making sure the chemical batches are handled right. It’s serious work but we try to keep the atmosphere light in the breakroom. There is a lot of noise from the Saki Vihar Road traffic that leaks into the office. You get used to it after a week. We have a few desks and a lot of specialized storage containers. Marol is a good spot for us because of the transport links. We get our supplies in and our products out without too much fuss, usually. The staff here at Ram Pharmaceutical Chemicals Ltd. mostly take the train or the bus. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know our faces. It’s just a regular business in a busy part of Mumbai. We do our bit and go home. It is a tiring job but we make it work.
