Oriano Solar

We’re located in the MIDC area of Mahape, which is pretty much the heart of the industrial side of Navi Mumbai. Oriano Solar has been operating out of here for a good while. The building isn’t much to look at from the outside, just another industrial unit among many, but inside we’re pretty busy. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the engineers and the guys handling the logistics. Being in Mahape means we’re surrounded by other companies, so there’s always a bit of noise and movement. We handle solar projects on a pretty regular basis. It’s not just about selling stuff; it’s about making sure the whole system actually works once it’s out in the field. Our desks are usually covered in blueprints and half-finished cups of tea. We don’t have a lot of rules about how things should look, as long as the work gets done correctly. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the traffic around here, but once we’re in, we just focus on the tasks at hand. We’ve seen the solar industry change quite a bit since we started, and we’ve had to learn a lot along the way. We’re just a group of people who know a lot about panels and power. We don’t use a lot of jargon when we talk to people. We just tell it like it is and get back to work.
