Our spot is right in the Belapur Station Complex, which is actually really convenient for everyone. We’re in Tower 10, specifically on the platform level, first floor. You can hear the trains sometimes, but you get used to it after a week or two. Surmount Energy Solutions is a group of people focused on power and energy setups. It’s a lot of technical planning and looking at meter readings. The office layout is a bit weird because of the building’s shape, but we’ve made it work. We have these two units, B-003 and 004, joined together. It feels more like a workshop sometimes than a corporate office. There’s always someone coming in or going out to a site visit. We keep a lot of folders and binders full of old projects because you never know when you’ll need to check a detail from five years ago. It’s not the quietest place to work, given where we are, but there’s a good energy to it. Most of us take the train right to the door. We aren’t really into big marketing schemes. We just get the job done and move to the next one. There’s a lot of talk about voltage and efficiency around the water cooler. It’s just how we live. We try to keep things simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. Sometimes we spend half the morning just sorting out the mail that gets delivered to the wrong tower.
