Raj Exim

Being located right near Mira Road station is both a blessing and a bit of a headache. The crowd is always there, and the sound of the trains is something you just learn to live with after a few days. We are in a spot that’s very easy to reach if you’re coming by rail, which helps since we are always moving around. Our focus at Raj Exim is mainly on the daily grind of moving products across borders. We don't have a massive office with fancy furniture; it's mostly just a few desks, some sturdy filing cabinets, and a very busy telephone. A lot of our time is spent on the phone with agents at the port or checking on where a specific truck has reached. We deal with a lot of different types of goods, and every day brings a new set of challenges with paperwork or logistics. It’s the kind of work where you have to be ready to change plans quickly if a shipment gets delayed. We grab our lunch from the local stalls nearby and usually eat while we’re still looking at our emails. It is a very unpretentious way of doing business. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the containers we are responsible for get to where they are going. Living and working so close to the station keeps us connected to the pace of the city. We keep things simple.
