Essar Impex

Essar Impex is situated in the TTC Industrial Area over in Khairane. We are at plot A-89, which is right along the Thane Belapur Road. It is a very industrial part of the world, so there are always big trucks rumbling by and the sound of machinery from the neighboring units. Our space is basically a big shed with some office rooms built into the front part. It is a practical setup for an impex business because we have enough room to move things in and out without too much trouble. The dust from the road is a bit of a constant battle, but that is just life in an industrial zone. We do not have any fancy signage or a plush lobby for visitors. It is mostly just us in our work clothes, checking manifests and making sure the loading is going okay at the back. The summer months get pretty hot in this building, so we have a few big fans going all day long to keep the air moving. We have been at A-89 for quite some time and we know the rhythms of the industrial area pretty well by now. Most of our day is spent coordinating logistics and talking to drivers on the phone. It is straightforward work that requires a lot of attention to detail, but we don't make a big deal out of it. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head home when the work is finished.
