Mazidun High School & Junior College

Mazidun High School & Junior College is tucked away on Plot No 34 in Airoli. Being in Navi Mumbai, we get students from all over the nearby sectors. It’s a bigger building because we have the older kids in the junior college sections too. The mornings start early with the high schoolers, and then the college students arrive a bit later. It makes for a very busy atmosphere all day long. The stairs are always being used by someone running to a lecture or a lab. We don’t have those fancy glass walls or air-conditioned lobbies you see in new offices. It’s a traditional school building with thick walls and big windows for air. We focus a lot on the exams because that’s what the parents in Airoli care about the most. Our teachers are often busy helping kids with their science practicals or explaining history. There’s a small area where students hang out between classes, usually chatting about their projects or upcoming tests. We try to keep the fees reasonable so families from different backgrounds can send their kids here. Navi Mumbai is changing fast, but our school stays pretty much the same year after year. It’s a place where students come to study, take their exams, and move on to their next step in life. We just provide the space and the staff to help them get there without any extra bells or whistles.
