If you head down to Turbhe, you’ll find us at 9/3, Thane Belapur Road. Lubrizol India Pvt. Ltd. has a pretty big presence here, and it’s a very industrial part of the world. The road outside is always full of tankers and trucks carrying all sorts of stuff, so there is always a layer of dust on the windows. Inside, it’s a mix of office space and the actual areas where the chemical work happens. We handle a lot of additives and specialty fluids that go into engines and machines. It’s not the kind of thing you think about every day, but it’s important for keeping things running. The guys on the floor wear their uniforms and we spend a lot of time following safety rules because you have to be careful in a place like this. It’s hot work in the summer, especially with the machinery running, but we have a good group of people who have been here for years. We aren't big on fancy talk or corporate slogans. We just show up, do the shifts, and make sure the batches are right. Sometimes the smells from the different chemicals can be a bit strong, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a busy place and there’s always something that needs fixing or checking. That’s just the way it goes on Thane Belapur Road and we are okay with that.
