At Kranti Telecom, we are over in Sector 21 Nerul, specifically at Plot No. 306/1. If you know where the State Bank of India is around here, we’re right near there. It’s a good spot because people are always coming and going from the bank. We handle a lot of different things related to phones and talk time. My desk is usually covered in small screws and phone parts because someone is always dropping their screen or needing a new battery. It gets a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when you’re fixing things all day. We carry a bunch of chargers and cables too because everyone always seems to lose theirs. I started this place because I liked messing with electronics, and now it’s just a daily routine. Some mornings start with people needing a quick recharge or a new SIM card. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us because we’re in the neighborhood. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of shelf space. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird noise, but it keeps the place cool enough. We just focus on getting the phones back in working order so people can get on with their day. It’s steady work and we like seeing the familiar faces from around the sector. It is just a normal local shop helping people out.
