We are located at Shop No 21 in the Farm Society in Sector 11. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep it stocked with the things people in the society actually need. Most of our days are spent standing behind the glass counter, reading prescriptions and looking for the right boxes on the shelves. It’s a lot of alphabetizing and checking expiration dates during the slow hours. We know many of the neighbors by name because they’ve been coming here for years for their blood pressure medicine or just a pack of Band-Aids. It’s not a glamorous job. Sometimes people come in late at night because they’ve got a fever or a child who can’t sleep, and we’re here to help them find what they’re looking for. We don’t have a website or any big posters outside. Just the name on the board and a door that stays open most of the day. It’s a quiet corner of Sector 11, and we’ve become part of the furniture here. We just keep our heads down and make sure we don’t hand out the wrong bottle of syrup. That’s about it for us. The counter is high, so sometimes I have to lean over to hear what the older folks are saying. They like to stay and chat for a bit, telling me about their grandkids or the weather. It’s not just about selling medicine; it’s about being there. We have a small fridge for the stuff that needs to stay cold, and it hums loudly throughout the day. Sometimes the delivery guy comes late and we have to stay open an extra twenty minutes to get everything put away. We don't have a big fancy computer system that tracks everything perfectly, so we still do a lot of things by hand in our little ledger. The shop is a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once, but we make it work. It’s a simple life.
