Jaypee Balaji Cement Plant

Over at Plot No-14 in Sector-21, you’ll find the Jaypee Balaji Cement Plant. We’re located right near the Devi Vandanachs building in Kharghar. It’s a pretty industrial setup, as you might expect for a place dealing with cement. There is always a layer of grey dust on things, and the trucks come and go pretty frequently throughout the day. We’ve been operating here for a while, providing material for the various building projects popping up all over Kharghar. It’s hard work, and the sun can get really hot out on the yard. We aren't about being fancy; we're about getting the cement out to where it needs to go. The staff here is mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We know the area well and we've seen how much it has changed. It used to be much quieter around here before all the new construction started. We keep our operations simple. When a customer needs a load, we get it ready and send it off. There’s not much more to it than that. Sometimes the equipment needs a bit of tinkering to keep it running smooth, but we handle it ourselves. It’s a steady job and we take it one day at a time. If you pass by, you’ll see us busy with the bags and the machinery, just trying to keep up with the demand. It is just honest, dusty work for a growing neighborhood.
