Ami Industries (India) Pvt. Ltd. is located in Vashi, over in J.K. Chambers. We’re in Office No 710, which is up on the seventh floor of Sector 17. Vashi is a busy hub, and Sector 17 is right in the middle of all the action. You have to deal with the parking scramble every morning, which is never fun. Our office isn't very large, but we make it work for everything we do. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of tea cups. We’ve been part of the Vashi business community for quite a while now. From our windows, we can see the city moving below us. We don't have a big staff, just a dedicated group that handles the day-to-day operations. Usually, it's pretty quiet inside, except for the sound of typing or the occasional phone call. We don't go for the high-end office furniture; we use what’s comfortable and works. It’s a practical space for a practical company. Sometimes clients come by for a quick chat, but mostly we handle things through emails. The building itself is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the slow elevators during lunch hour. We like being in this part of Navi Mumbai because everything is accessible. We just show up, do the work that’s on the schedule, and try to stay ahead of the deadlines. It’s a steady pace that suits us just fine for the long run.
