Aparna Publications

We are located in the Kiramdeep Society, which is right behind Naka No 6 on Lam Road. If you know the Deolali Camp area in Nashik, you probably know where we are. We work out of the G 5 F Wing. It’s a modest setup. There are books and papers everywhere, as you might expect from a publication house. Nashik is a good place to be, the air is a bit better here than in the bigger cities. We spend our days proofing, printing, and talking to authors. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a deadline is coming up. The society is usually quiet, which helps us focus on the reading parts of our jobs. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Lam Road has gotten much busier over the years. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on getting the books out. We aren't a giant publishing firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of people who like books and know how to get them printed. Sometimes the machinery is a bit finicky and we have to spend a morning fixing something instead of writing, but that's part of the life. We enjoy the local food around here during our lunch breaks. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy. Our office isn't much to look at, but it has everything we need to keep the publications moving forward.
