Our company, Yuvi Banjara Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located in Vasant Nagar in the Ambad area. We use Satish Shyamrao Jadhav’s place for our meetings and to keep our documents safe. We are a group of farmers from around here who decided it was time to work together instead of competing with each other all the time. The name reflects our roots and the community we belong to. Life in Ambad revolves around the farm cycles, and it can be pretty stressful when the rains are late or the prices at the market are low. We formed this group to help each other out with things like getting better quality seeds and sharing the costs of transport. It’s not a fancy business with a big office. It’s just us sitting in a room or under a tree talking about what needs to be done next. We don't have a lot of time for polished speeches or mission statements. We’re more interested in whether the crops are growing well and if we can get a fair price this year. Everyone in the group has their own small plot of land, and we all know how much work goes into it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the farmers in Vasant Nagar have a bit more stability. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset.
