A lot of us are younger guys who didn't want to leave the village for the city. We saw our parents struggling with the same old problems year after year and thought maybe if we teamed up, we could change things a little bit. It’s not easy work, and we definitely don't have all the answers. Most days involve a lot of sweat and worrying about the weather. We use the company to buy things in bulk because it’s cheaper that way, and honestly, every rupee counts when you're farming. We don't have a big staff or anyone in a fancy office. It’s just us, the same people you see out in the fields every morning. We try to learn about new ways to grow things, but we still listen to the older folks because they know the soil better than any book. It’s a mix of old and new, I guess. We just want to prove that you can still make a living here in Pimpalgaon without having to give up on the land. It’s a slow process, but we’re sticking with it even when the harvest is small or the market is difficult.
