But when a whole group of us from Kusur Gaothan stand together, it’s a different story. We don't have a fancy office or any corporate training. Most of us have been farming since we were kids. We meet up at Ravsaheb’s house and talk about what worked last year and what didn't. There’s a lot of trial and error involved. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the folks in our immediate area have a way to get their crops to market without losing all their profit to middlemen. It’s a simple goal, but it takes a lot of time and effort to manage. We are just a bunch of neighbors in Yeola trying to make the best of what we have and keep our farms running for the next generation.
