We don’t have a big marketing budget or a polished office in the city. Our space in Ghoti Wadi is pretty simple. It’s where we store our records and meet up to talk about the farming cycles and how we can manage our produce better. Being in Nasik, we are surrounded by a lot of agriculture, but being in Ghoti gives us our own little corner to work from. It gets quite rainy here sometimes, which keeps us on our toes. The office isn't always perfectly tidy because we are busy people with families and fields to look after as well. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re more important than we are. We just wanted a way for the women here to have a voice in how things are sold and grown. It’s a practical setup, mostly just some basic furniture and a lot of determination. People know us by our name, and they know where to find us in Ghoti if they need to talk shop or join in. We just take things one day at a time here.
