Wakulni Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Ambad. We operate out of Nilesh Madanlalji Lohiya’s place, which is marked as 18142. It’s a bit of a local landmark if you know the area well. We aren’t a big, polished company with a lot of money to spend on things that don't matter. A group of people from the Ambad taluka just wanted to work together. Most of our day is spent talking to farmers and looking at what is being grown in the fields around here. The office is a simple room where records are kept and we have our tea while talking about the day's work. Mission statements and stuff like that aren't things we use. Just making sure the farming in our area goes as smoothly as possible is enough. Sometimes it’s hard to get everyone on the same page, but that’s just how people are. Seeds, crops, and buyers are dealt with as they come along. It’s a bit disorganized sometimes, but the job always gets done somehow. If you walk into our place, you’ll probably see a lot of papers on the desk and hear someone talking on a mobile phone about a delivery. That is just how we do things here in Ambad. It’s real work done by real people who live in the community and care about how things turn out for everyone in the end.
