Vishwasattya D T Ed College

Vishwasattya D T Ed College is tucked away in Tambat Lane here in Nashik. It is not a huge campus like those big universities you see on TV, but it works for what we do. We focus on training people who want to become teachers. Most of our students come from around the 422001 area or nearby parts of the city. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy and has enough room for the lectures and practical work. We spend a lot of time talking about how to handle a classroom full of children. Teaching isn't as easy as it looks from the outside. Our office is usually full of paperwork because that is just the way these things go. The hallways can get a bit crowded between classes when everyone is rushing to get a tea or talk to their friends. We have some desks that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose. Being in Tambat Lane means it’s quite central, so getting here by bus or rickshaw isn't too much of a headache for the students. We don't put up big posters or do much advertising. People usually find out about us through word of mouth. We just keep the doors open and follow the schedule every day. It is a straightforward place for people who are serious about getting their diploma and starting their career in schools.
