If you go over to Canada Corner at Vasant Market in Nashik, you’ll find our place, Ashirwad Yog Naturopathy College & Treatment Centre. We’ve been operating out of this part of Maharashtra for quite a while now. It’s a mix of a school and a place where people come for treatments. We spend a lot of time teaching students about yoga and how the body works without using modern medicines all the time. The rooms are usually filled with the smell of oils or herbal preparations. It’s a bit of a slower pace compared to the busy market outside. People come in with all sorts of aches and pains, and we do our best to help them out using what we know about naturopathy. The students here are often seen practicing their stretches or studying old texts on health. It’s not a fancy hospital with white walls and bright lights; it feels more like a local center where people feel comfortable. The staff stays busy managing the appointments and making sure the college side of things runs smoothly. Sometimes the market outside gets really loud, but inside we try to keep things as calm as possible for the patients. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basic stuff needed for yoga and natural therapies. It’s a practical, straightforward place where we focus on health and teaching others how to stay well. That is what our days look like in Nashik.
