Vidya Vikas International School

We are situated at 248/2 in the Malegaon Camp area of Malegaon. Even though we have "International" in our name, we are very much a local school that serves the families living right here in this part of town. The Malegaon Camp area is usually quite busy with people and traffic moving about at all hours. Our school building is a solid, older structure that has seen many generations of students pass through its doors over the years. We have different floors for the different age groups, and I have to say, those stairs can be quite a climb by the end of a long day. We have a modest playground that’s used for sports, physical education, and the morning assembly where everyone gathers. It’s not the biggest space in the world, but it definitely serves its purpose for the kids. The classrooms are usually filled with colorful posters and various bits of student work pinned up on the walls. We try our best to keep things orderly and quiet, though with hundreds of kids in one building, that’s always going to be a bit of a challenge. The teachers here work incredibly hard and you’ll often see them staying late into the evening to finish their grading or prep. We have a gatekeeper at the front who knows most of the parents by sight. Malegaon is a place with a lot of local character, and our school fits right into that community.
