D. M. Agro Exports

We operate out of Shop No. 2 in the Pandhari Complex, which is located in Kokangaon. It’s a small shop, but it’s where all the work happens for D. M. Agro Exports. Most of our day is spent dealing with the exports, which means lots of phone calls and checking on the shipping containers. Kokangaon is a good place for us because it’s close to the farms we work with. The complex itself is pretty basic, just a row of shops with ours sitting right in the middle. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a couple of old computers, and a lot of notebooks where I keep my own records. I’ve always preferred writing things down by hand even if the computer is right there. It’s a small team here, just myself and a couple of others who help with the paperwork and the loading when we have to move stuff. We don't have a big fancy website or any of that marketing stuff. Most people find us because they know someone we've worked with before. We try to be fair with our prices and honest about when things can actually get delivered. Sometimes there are delays at the port or the trucks get stuck in traffic, and we just have to be straight with people about the situation. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when the heat is bad, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of it. It’s just a normal business.
