Imperial Agro Exim

Down in Karsul, right near Pimpalgaon in the Nifad area, you will find our small team at Imperial Agro Exim. It is very much a rural, countryside setting, which makes a lot of sense for us because we are right in the heart of the main farming belt. We handle a lot of the export and import side of different agricultural goods. Nifad is famous for its produce, especially the grapes and onions, so we stay extremely busy during the harvest seasons when everything comes in at once. It is not like a city office at all. There is usually some dust on our boots and we have plenty of open space for the big trucks to move around and load up. We talk to the local farmers every single day, and most of them have known us for years. The pace of our work here follows the natural seasons of the earth. When things are growing in the fields, we are preparing the paperwork, and when things are finally ready to ship, it’s all hands on deck for long hours. We don't have a big corporate staff, just a few local people who know the land and the crops well. It is a lot of physical work and staying on top of the changing market prices. Sometimes the monsoon weather makes the roads difficult, but that is just part of being in the agro business. We don't use any fancy marketing words to describe what we do. We just move food from the fields to the markets, making sure it’s handled with care. It’s a simple life out here in Karsul, but it is very important work.
