Nashik is a big place for farming but we are tucked away in a smaller corner. We started this because we wanted to focus on specific crops that do well here. The name might sound a bit fancy but we are just regular folks. We spend most of our time in the dirt or checking on the plants. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We have a small office where we keep our books. It’s usually a bit messy with notes and receipts everywhere. We aren't the type to have everything perfectly filed away in color-coded folders. We know where everything is though. Most of our members are local farmers from the surrounding villages. We get together once in a while to talk about what’s working and what isn't. It’s more of a community gathering than a business meeting. We don't have a big marketing budget. Our work usually speaks for itself when people see the quality. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. The seasons change and we change with them. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know. We aren't looking to change the world, just to make a decent living for our families here in Yeola.
