You can find us at Gat No. 773, Plot No. 35 in Thengoda. This is where Siddhivinayak Farmer Producer Company Limited is based. We are right here in the Baglan area, and most of us grew up in these fields. Farming is a tough way to make a living, and anyone who says otherwise hasn't spent a day under the sun here. We started this group because we wanted to stop being at the mercy of the big traders. By pooling our resources, we can buy our supplies together and hopefully get a better price when it’s time to sell. We aren't a big office with a lot of staff. It’s just us farmers sitting down and trying to figure out the numbers. Sometimes we spend more time talking about the weather or a broken pump than the actual company business. But that is how it is when your life is tied to the land. We don't have any polished speeches or marketing materials. We just have our crops and our hard work. Thengoda is our home, and we want to see the people here do well. It’s a lot of responsibility, and we make mistakes sometimes, but we’re learning. We just want to be able to keep farming the way we always have, but with a bit more security for our future and our kids.
