We are a group of women who decided to get together and handle our farming business as a collective. It started because we were all doing the same kind of work in our own fields and realized it made more sense to work as one unit. Our office is on Plot 26S108. Usually, you’ll find some of us here talking about the latest crops or trying to figure out how to transport things better. It is not a fancy office, just a place where we get things done. Being in Nashik helps because it is a big hub for agriculture, but we focus on our local community first. We don’t have a big corporate team, just us and the other women from the nearby farms. Sometimes the rains make things difficult, and other times the market prices are frustrating, but we keep going because this is how we make our living. People often stop by to ask about what we are growing this season. We try to keep things simple and honest. Dealing with paperwork and the legal side of being a company was a bit of a learning curve for all of us, but we are figuring it out as we go along. It is just about supporting each other and making sure our families are okay through our farming work.
