Shivprasad Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at Post Chapadgaon in the Ambad Tq. We are working out of Shri Abasaheb Dadarao’s place. Chapadgaon is a small spot, so you can’t really miss us if you are looking for the office. Being a farmer producer company means we spend all our time with the local folks who are growing cotton or grain. We do not have any slick presentations or corporate slogans. We just have a small room with some chairs and a table where we talk about the harvest. Most of us grew up on farms, so we know the struggles that come with it. The roads out here in Ambad can be a bit dusty, and when it rains, it gets muddy fast. That does not stop us from getting the work done. We help collect the produce from the smaller farms so we can sell it together in bigger lots. It is a practical way to do things. The office is not always tidy, especially during the peak harvest season when there are papers and samples everywhere. We just try to be honest and do right by the people we work with. There is no big mystery to it. We just show up every day, talk to the farmers, and try to get the best results we can for the whole group. It is just how life goes in our village. We focus on the crops and the people who grow them.
