We meet at the plot in Pandurang Nagar to discuss what we’re growing and how to get it to the market. It’s not a fancy business meeting with suits; it’s usually just us in our work clothes, trying to figure out the best way forward. We’ve all had those years where the harvest was bad and we struggled, so this company is our way of trying to prevent that from happening again. We don't have any big marketing plans or polished presentations. We just know our land and we know our crops. Nashik is great for farming, but it takes a lot of effort to make it work. By being part of this group, we can help each other out with equipment or just give some advice when someone is having a hard time. It’s an honest, local operation run by people who actually get their hands dirty. We just want to keep farming and make sure our community stays strong.
