Shirasmani Krushi Kanya Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our company is based at House Number 9 in Shirasmani. This is up in the Kalwan Taluka, within the Nashik district. What’s special about us is that we are a farmers producer company focused on the women in our area, which is why we have "Krushi Kanya" in our name. We gather at the house in Shirasmani to discuss our plans for the season. Kalwan is a beautiful area with lots of hills, but farming here takes a lot of effort. We aren't some distant corporation; we are the neighbors you see every day. The office is just a simple room where we keep our records. Most of the real work happens outside in the fields or at the local markets. We talk about what to plant, how to manage the soil, and where we can sell our harvest for a decent price. There’s a lot of talking and sharing of ideas among the women here. We don't have any polished marketing materials. Everything we do is very practical and grounded in our daily lives. Sometimes it’s hard to balance the farm work with the company paperwork, but we help each other out. We just want to make sure the women farmers of Shirasmani have a voice and can work together to make things better for their families. It’s a quiet but steady kind of work that fills up our days and keeps us going through the seasons.
