Shambhumauli Agro Producer Company Limited is at House Number 11 in Kolisirasgaon. This is in the Ambad area of Jalna, right along the road from Ambad to Jalna. We are just a small group of people from the village who decided to register as a company. It does not change much about how we work every day, but it helps us when we need to buy things for the farms. Kolisirasgaon is a small spot, and everyone knows everyone's business. We meet at the house to talk about the crops and how the market is looking. Jalna can be a tough place to farm because the water is not always reliable. We spend a lot of time talking about irrigation and the weather. We are not trying to be some big corporate entity with a mission statement. We just want to make sure we can support our families. Most of the time, the building is quiet because we are all out in the fields. When the harvest comes, things get a bit more hectic and you will see a lot of activity around the house. We do all the work ourselves, from loading the bags to keeping the books. It is just a plain, simple life here in Maharashtra, and we are okay with that. There is no need for anything fancy when the land provides what you need if you work hard enough.
