Sanklpana Womens Farmer Producer Company Limited is run by the women of Kathargaotal in Niphad. Our office is at Narayan Bhikaji Sonwane’s place, at room 216. Niphad is a place where almost everyone is involved in farming, especially with the grapes and onions that grow so well here. We started this company because we wanted to have a bigger role in the business side of our farming. It is not just about planting and weeding; it is about knowing the market and the prices. Our meetings can be quite lively, with everyone sharing their opinions on what we should do next. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big office space. Most of our work happens right in the fields or in the storage sheds near the house. We are a community of women who support each other through the good seasons and the bad ones. It is hard work to manage the company and our own households, but we are used to it by now. We do not use any complicated business talk or marketing words. We just focus on the quality of what we grow and how to get it to the buyers fairly. It is a local effort, and we are proud to be doing it together for the sake of our village. We are just regular women from the village working for a better future for our kids.
