Our mill is located in Navare Nagar, right near Shivaji Rao Chandra College. If you’re a student or someone living nearby, you’ve probably heard the sound of our machines. Sai Baba Mirchi Masala Flour Mill is a loud place, especially in the afternoons when everyone brings their grains and chilies to be ground. It gets pretty dusty in here. We all wear cloths over our faces to keep the spice dust out of our lungs. It’s hard work and your skin usually stings a bit by the end of the shift from the chili peppers. The smell of ground spices carries down the street and that’s all the marketing we really need. It’s a simple, honest way to earn a living, even if it is a bit messy.
