Sahyagiri Farmers Producer Company Limited

Sahyagiri Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Talwade in the Malegaon area. We are located at survey number 597, right at Vasant Shravan Pawar’s place. Nashik is known for its farming, and we are just a small part of that tradition. We decided to start this company because it felt like the right time for us to work together instead of alone. It is a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but we like it that way. The office is basically just a room where we can sit down and talk about the seeds, the rain, and what is happening in the markets. We don't have a lot of workers, just a few local hands who know what they are doing. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on the piles of produce being brought in. We try to keep things organized, but when it's busy, it can get a bit messy around the yard. That is just how it is with farming. We are not doing this to be famous or anything like that. We just want a fair shake for the hard work we put in under the hot sun. It is difficult work, and the rewards are not always there, but we stick together. We talk about what is working and what isn't over a cup of tea. It is a real community effort in Talwade. We are just regular people from Nashik trying to make it work.
