Our place is at Gat No 314/2/1 in Mohadi, which is part of Dindori in Nashik. Everyone knows Nashik for the grapes and the big farms, but here in Mohadi, we are just focused on our own little zone. We formed this company to represent the farmers in the Sawargaon area. It’s a beautiful part of the country, especially when the Sahyadri hills are green, but the work never stops. We have our small office right there on the land. It’s not a fancy building with glass walls. It’s just a place where we keep the tools and the books. Being in the 422207 area means we are close to the action but still far enough out to be quiet. We talk a lot about soil health and which seeds are working this year. It’s all very practical stuff. We don’t have a marketing guy to write our things, so we just tell it like it is. We get together, we pool our resources, and we try to get the best for our families. Sometimes we argue about the best way to do things, but that’s what happens when you have a lot of farmers in one room. We’re just trying to keep the farming tradition going in Dindori while making sure we can actually pay the bills. It’s a simple life, mostly spent outdoors in the sun.
