Rudra Laxmi Farmers Producer Company Limited is located over in Vishnunagar, right on the Vinchur Nashik Road. Being in Niphad, we are right in the middle of a big farming area. Most people around here know us because we're always out in the fields or at the warehouse at G No 260. We aren't some big city corporation. We are just a group of people trying to make farming work a bit better for the guys in our village. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in these producer companies, more than you’d think. We spend a lot of time sitting at the desk sorting out details for the members. Nashik is famous for certain crops, and we try to keep up with the market prices so nobody gets cheated. It’s hard work and the sun is hot most of the year. We started this because we saw how tough it was for individual farmers to get a decent price. Now we do it as a collective. Our office is a practical space, nothing flashy. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it's just us drinking tea and planning the next harvest cycle. We’ve learned a lot since we started. It’s not always easy, but having the office here in Vishnunagar helps us stay close to the people we work with every day. The work is never really done, but we like being our own bosses and helping out.
