We are based at G No. 313 in Pimpalgaon Dukare, which is near Igatpuri. It’s a beautiful area but the work is tough. We are a group of farmers who came together under the name Rayatvikas. Most of us have been working these lands for a long time. The weather up here near Igatpuri can be unpredictable, so we try to help each other out. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. Our office is more like a storage shed where we keep our tools and meet up to talk. You’ll usually find us covered in a bit of dust or mud depending on the season. We deal with the crops we grow right here in the village. It’s not a complicated setup. We just want to make sure we aren't getting squeezed by the middlemen. We share what we know about the soil and the pests. Sometimes the meetings go on for a long time because everyone has a different opinion. But that’s how it works with farmers. We are just regular people trying to make a living from the ground. We don’t use any big marketing words. We just grow what we can and try to sell it for a fair price.
