Peth Aadiwasi Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based in the Dnyaneshwar Society over in the Adgaon area of Nashik. Our spot is at Plot Number 27 on Survey Number 479. Peth Aadiwasi Agro was started because a few of us felt we could do more if we worked together. Nashik is a busy place for farming, and it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle if you’re just one person. We aren't some high-tech firm with a lot of money. We just have a small office where we handle the logistics of our crops. Most days, we are out near Peth or in our own fields, and we only come back to the society to do the administrative stuff. It’s a lot of back and forth. We talk about the crops, the soil, and how to get our stuff to the markets without losing too much money. Sometimes the office is a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once to discuss something important. We don’t have fancy furniture, just enough chairs for whoever is there. It’s a very local operation run by people who actually know how to handle a plow and deal with the weather. We just want to keep our traditions going while trying to find a better way to handle the business side of things. It's a lot of learning on the fly for us as we go along.
