Parayag Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group, Parayag Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located at Post Bhoggan in the Ambad area of Jalna. We are basically running things from Shriram Bapu’s place. It’s a quiet spot, just like the rest of the village life around here. Being in Jalna, we are surrounded by fields and people who have been farming for generations. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning or anything. Usually, you’ll find us sitting around discussing whatever the current season requires. It might be about cotton, or maybe just how dry the ground is getting. Ambad is a place where everyone knows everyone, so news travels fast. We started this because we wanted to have a collective way to handle our produce. It’s hard doing it all alone sometimes. Shriram’s place serves as our main point of contact for the members. We don't have fancy brochures. Most of our work is just talking through problems and trying to find a way forward for the farmers in Bhoggan. It gets dusty and hot, but that is just part of the job. We don’t really use big words or have long meetings that go nowhere. We just talk about what needs to happen with the next harvest. It’s a practical way of living and working. If you come by, you’ll just see regular people trying to make a living from the land. That's really all there is to it. We keep it honest and straightforward.
