Palkhed Samruddhi Farmers Producer Company Limited is based at Sunil Gorakhnath Wani’s house in Palkhed. It is house number 154 if you are looking for it. We are located in the Vaijapur area of Aurangabad district. Most of us involved here are just neighbors who have been farming these lands for years. We decided to put our names together on some papers to make a company so we could handle our sales better. It is not like we have a big factory or anything. We mostly meet in the yard or in a small room to discuss which crops are doing well. Palkhed is a quiet place and we like it that way. We aren't big on using fancy words or trying to sound like businessmen. We are just farmers. Most days involve a lot of walking through the fields and checking on the water. When it’s time to harvest, things get very hectic and the house becomes a mess of paperwork and phone calls. We try to help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks down or when the market gets confusing. It’s a simple way to work. We don't have a lot of extra money for decorations or nice signs. We just want to do right by the land and our community. That is all we are really about.
