Our place is inside Gayatri Bunglow, which is house number three in Ganesh Nagar. It’s a bit different because it’s a bungalow rather than a standard office block, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. Being near Pethenagar Road means we get a fair bit of noise from the traffic, but once you step inside, it’s mostly quiet. We are right opposite Lekha Nagar, so people usually find us using that as a landmark. The front garden area has a few plants that we try to keep alive, though the summer sun is usually too much for them. Inside, we have converted the main rooms into our working space with tables and computers. There are four of us who work here regularly. We usually have a lot of solar components and electronic bits lying around on the benches because that’s what we deal with every day. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we manage to get things sorted out eventually. Lunch is usually spent sitting on the porch if the weather isn't too hot. We’ve been in this part of town for a good few years now and the neighbors are used to us moving boxes in and out. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way because it keeps things easy for everyone. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that, just a doorbell and a friendly face to greet you whenever you stop by.
