Orange Valley Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are just a bunch of farmers from around Dehare who decided to start Orange Valley Farmer Producer Company Limited. It’s mostly us local folks trying to figure out how to get our crops to the right places without too much trouble. Our main spot is over at Dipak Bhikaji Karande’s place on Gorakshanath Road. It’s not a big fancy office or anything, just a room where we sit down and talk about the harvest. We spent a long time working the land individually but realized things work out a bit better when we talk to each other. Mostly we deal with what grows well in this part of the valley. Some days are busier than others especially when the seasons change. We don't have a big team of office people, just the farmers themselves doing the paperwork and making sure the supplies come in on time. If you come down to S.No. 25/2, you’ll probably find someone there working or just checking the bags. It is a simple setup because we would rather spend our time out in the fields than sitting at a desk. We just want to make sure the work we do on the farm actually pays off at the end of the year. There’s a lot to learn about running a company like this but we are taking it one day at a time here in the village.
