Multichem

Multichem is located in Ashok Wan Colony, over in the Old CIDCO area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main market, which is nice for us. We handle chemicals and related stuff for various uses. The shop is small but we use every inch of the space we have. My brother and I usually handle the orders that come in. We get people from around the neighborhood and some from further away in the city. Old CIDCO has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed in this same spot through it all. There’s a lot of storage needed for what we do, so it feels a bit cramped sometimes. We don’t really do fancy presentations or anything. If you need something, we find it on the shelf and get it ready for you. The paperwork is the boring part, sitting at the old wooden desk under the tubelight in the evening. We try to keep everything in order so we don't lose track of the batches. It’s a local business through and through. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. Sometimes we stay late if a shipment arrives late in the day. There isn't a big story here, just a company providing what's needed for the local industry and homes. We’ve got our routine down and it works for us. It’s just how things are done in this part of town. We keep it simple and keep going every day.
