Nimbus Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in Nimgaon, which is in the Malshiras taluka of Solapur. We operate out of Shivajirao Yeshwantrao Patil’s place. Solapur is a place where you have to be tough because the weather doesn't always cooperate. We are just a group of local farmers who felt it was time to join forces. Instead of every person trying to figure things out on their own, we use the company to coordinate. We focus on the crops that grow well in Nimgaon and the surrounding villages. It’s a very grounded business. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. Most of our work is done in the morning before it gets too hot or in the evening when the work in the fields is done. We help each other find better seeds and share tips on how to save water. The company is just a tool for us to help our families. We are plain-speaking people who value hard work and honesty. If you come by Nimgaon, you’ll see we are just regular folks. We started this because we wanted more control over our own lives and our own harvests. It’s been a learning process for all of us, but we are making it work one day at a time.
