Nehrai Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our place is located at House Number 643 in the Neharai Dindori Shivar area. It’s right near Vilas Nivrutti Banakar’s spot. Dindori is known for its land, and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. Nehrai Farmer Producer Company Limited isn't some big city firm. We are just a bunch of people from the village who decided to work together. Most of our days are spent out in the fields or sitting around a small table talking about the next harvest. We don't have a shiny website or a dedicated sales team. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk up to the house or find us near the storage sheds. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the harvest is ready. Then everything gets very hectic. We have to coordinate trucks and laborers, and sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate at all. We've had our share of bad years, but that's just how farming goes. Our office is basically a room with a few benches and a cupboard full of old files. We write everything down by hand mostly, though we have a computer that works sometimes. It's honest work. We know the soil here and we know the families who till it. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to get a fair price for the crops we grow. It's a slow process but we're sticking with it together. The old dog sleeps by the door and greets everyone who comes by to trade.
